Canberra FC to play Bathurst 75 FC on Saturday 25/2/2012

Come and support Canberra's most successful sporting club ever this coming Saturday 25/2/2012 when Canberra FC host Bathurst 75 FC who play in the Sydney State League 2 competition. Bathurst 75 FC have added some new names to their growing team list for the upcoming 2012 season and are very keen to come to Canberra and test themselves against Canberra's best football club.

After two practice games against local opposition teams resulting in two wins and last week's damaging win's against Cringila Lions FC, one of Wollongong's Premier League clubs, Canberra FC's Premier League and Premier Pathways team's are really looking forward to again playing and hosting an unknown opponent and at the same time having another oppourtunity to display the vast array of talent this very proud and traditional football club has at its disposal.

Then at 6pm Canberra FC's O45s team will take on Sydney United's O45s team with both teams to showcase many players who have played the game at the highest level here in Australia and overseas.  

All three games will be played at Deakin Stadium which is without doubt one of the best privately owned football stadium's in Canberra and the surrounding region and has quickly become known as the "home of football" in Canberra after the 2011 grand final, billed as one of the best ever grand final's in Canberra's rich football history.

All the fantastic facilities that Deakin Stadium has to offer will be open including the well equipped canteen selling cold soft drinks, water, icey cold beer, tasty steak standwich's and the famous kransky roll's.
